I can't comment on the lanyard ring because I don't plan on using it, just going in the drawer for now. This pocket clip allows me to carry my Wave with a "lower profile" & that's what I wanted. It doesn't pull your pocket down or anything, keeps it right where you need it & looks really good when attached. One concern I had about it was that it would get in the way when using the tool, luckily it's not an issue with this clip.
